Saraswati Puja 2004:

Dear NVBA member,

Northern Virginia Bengali Association (NVBA) will be celebrating Saraswati Puja on January 31, 2004 at Durga Temple. We look forward to your active participation and cooperation to make the puja a great success. Bring your family and friends to celebrate this grand event!
The schedule for the day's events is:

Puja and Anjali 11:45 AM - 12.30 PM
Prasad Distribution 12:30 PM - 1:00 PM
Lunch 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM
Break and Socialization 2:30 PM - 3:30 PM
Cultural Program 3:30 PM - 5.30PM
Snacks, Tea/coffee 5:30 PM - 6:00 PM

Puja contribution : Members : Family $25.00 Single $15.00
Non-members: Family $30.00 Single $ 20.00

Volunteers are needed for conducting various activities of the Puja. Please contact any Board member if you would like to help.

NVBA will also host a 'Sit & Draw Competition' for children (3yrs-12yrs) and 'A Fancy Dress event' on the day of the Puja as well as cultural program in the evening. Please click here for details.
