Cultural Evening took place on 21st May at Durga Temple.

Schedule for the evening:

• Refreshment: 5:30 PM
• Cultural Programme:6:00-8:30 PM
• Dinner: 8:30 PM

The highlights of the evening

• Exquisite Odissi performance by the students of leading KONARAK DANCE SCHOOL- led by Jayantee Paine, the famous Odissi dancer and director of the school.
• Vocal performance by Dina Matin - Fine blend of Adhunik Bengali and Hindi songs
• Vocal performance by Ruma Bhowmick - Adhunik songs
• Poetry recitation by Rima Acharya
• Garba dance by little artists of the community
• Modern dance by nvba teeange troupe

The participants are requested to contact the cultural committee upon their arrival atleast half and hour prior to their performances. Sushmita Sarkar will notify the exact time slots to individual participants.

In order to cover some of the costs incurred we have decided to collect $15.00 per family ($10.00 for single).
